UK Mentor / Investor
After graduating from Birmingham University, Nick Claydon worked as a TV Production Assistant for a few years, prior to moving into the world of financial recruitment. Having worked his way up the corporate ladder, managing a number of offices and staff, Nick focused on coaching, training and developing both confidence and skills within his teams.
After 12 years within financial recruitment, and having had his ‘lightbulb moment’ after reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Nick set up his own recruitment business at the end of 2006. Soon afterwards, Nick realised that he had simply gone from one JOB to Another. The recession hit Nick’s business hard in 2008 and it was then that he became all too aware of the importance of passive cash flow and creating multiple income streams.
In 2009, Nick started to educate himself through Legacy Education Alliance, Inc. (LEA) Training and, with the help of a Mentor, subsequently built up a multi-million property portfolio, using Other People’s Money and Creative Finance techniques. When the credit crunch was in full flow, Nick was faced with many financing challenges, each of which taught him how to find money from different sources to ‘make the deal happen’. Failure was simply not an option.
Nick’s property portfolio no longer has any of his own money left in it so his potential ROI is now infinite. Nick’s portfolio is performing well, so much so that he and his wife are now financially free.
Nick’s UK-wide investment experience comprises Buy to Let, Lease Options, Distressed Properties, Holiday Lets, HMOs, Social Housing and Flips.
