Cindy Harris has been with our organization for over 10 years. She wrote the book Guide to Real Estate Investing, which is given to all students who sign up for the initial three-day training class. Cindy became a mentor in 2005 when her youngest child was 18. Her interest in real estate investing began after working with other investors and developers as a realtor. She started by rehabbing and then moved to purchasing properties.
Cindy owns both residential and commercial real estate and has worked with students doing wholesaling, lease option, rehabbing, commercial, foreclosures, probate, property management, creative finance, tax liens and deeds, short sales, discount notes, and mobile home parks. Often the focus for many students is getting creative financing, finding private money, or buying with no money. Cindy works with students looking at potential deals and helps them determine what can be done with the deal by crunching the numbers to come up with exit strategies.
